The Corsair Void did a good job of handling the directional sound in Counter Strike Global Offensive, and the experience was similar to that of the HyperX Cloud Drone II. But the real test was with Counter Strike Global Offensive where directional sound sense is 70% of the gameplay. The 2.4 GHz wireless signal is more than enough to handle the bulk of audio in games like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. The RGB lighting is not distracting at all and consumes little power, while still managing to stand out. The earcups are made of microfibre cloth which replaces the ever popular faux leather that most companies opt for.Īll that said, the headset does feel quite sturdy, and the USB dongle as well as the extenders seem built to last. It also has a LED light built-in to indicate the status. The microphone is rather flimsy and opens up even with a slight jerk.

It is made from meshed plastic and metal which, in my opinion, unnecessarily adds to the weight of an already heavy headset. The Corsair Void headset looks bulky and feels hefty, due to the included batteries.
